flux agents

Flux Agents are an add-on to Flux. Agents are used to delegate processes to remote machines, running your processes on your unique computing resources and dividing the workload of a single machine to achieve better scalability.

QA/UAT

QA/UAT licenses are for non-production use, QA testing, UAT, and staging.
Since they are for testing or development, they require a restart of the Flux engine every 90 days

development

Development licenses can be used for development and testing purposes.
Requires a restart of the Flux engine every 7 days.

All licenses are perpetual. Prices are in US dollars. Licenses are "per server" or "per computer", regardless of the number of CPUs. Virtual machines on a single physical server are counted as just one server.

Disaster Recovery Licenses

These licenses are available on Flux and Agents for cold standby at 30% of the license cost. Warm standby licenses are available for 70% of the license cost. Cold Standby servers cannot be used in production at the same time as the Production servers. If the Production servers fail, Cold Standby servers can be used in production. Production data can be replicated to Cold Standby servers from time to time (occasionally). Warm Standby servers are like Cold Standby servers except that production data is replicated to the Warm Standby servers more regularly, but there are times when the Production servers and the Warm Standby servers do not contain the exact same data.)

Note: We have geek-to-geek pricing and as such, we place what we believe are realistic prices on the Flux software. We do not intend to quote unrealistic list prices only to offer "attractive" discounts in order to "win business". These prices are what we offer to everyone and are listed publicly.

Support and Maintenance

Support and Maintenance is based on 20% of the total licenses purchased. It is an annual fee. As long as you have support and maintenance agreement in place, you can receive telephone and email technical support from the Flux developers. You will receive each and every release of Flux at no additional cost.
